Can anyone become a member?
Anyone inside or outside Solar can join our club, which greatly increases the networking opportunities of all our members.
Am I required to speak at club meetings as a guest?
No. You are not obligated to speak when visiting a club as a guest. You may simply observe if you wish but you will be asked to share your name at the beginning and thoughts at the end!
How much does it cost to become a member?
The cost is $66 every 6 months with an initial membership fee. If you are a Solar Turbines employee, you are able to apply for reimbursement. Please reach out to the Treasurer for more information!
When and where are the club meetings held?
We meet 11:25am-12:30pm every Tuesday. You can join from on Teams or in person at the Solar Turbines San Diego Office, Harbor Drive or Kearny Mesa.
Am I required to speak at club meetings as a member?
As a member, you will be required to hold roles which will involve speaking. We are very open to scheduling that suits your needs, but speaking is required, yes.
What is the context of the club?
This is a club held in a corporate space where we practice speaking of all kinds! Whether it be a big presentation or a wedding toast we've got you covered!
